Selection Of Work Restoration of St. George’s ChapelThe
chapel of St. George in the Old Fortress of Corfu has been in need
of big scale renovation in order to be able to host functions during
the European Summit of ’94 (roof, services, temple, plastering,
etc).
Restoration
of Venetian era listed house
Three-bedroom
semidetatched house located in the old village of Aghios Markos. The
village is under the protection of the Greek ministry of Culture.
The intervention comprised by strengthening of the load bearing
walls, construction of new roof and floors and arrangement works.
Two
storey Villa Two
storey, five bedroom house. Attic housing the owners’ bedroom with
en-suite bathroom and sitting room. Our effort along the consulting
stage was to take the edge off the size by breaking up the volumes
and to present a traditional form by use of modern elements.
Full refurbishment of two storey villa and construction of swimming pool Five-bedroom
house erected in ’64 on designs by a Swiss consulting firm. No
effort was made to alter the style of the house. Fatigue of services
made the current owners decide on a total refurbishment as well as
the construction of a swimming pool.
